Benson began his shop, Les Freres Shop Artisanal, after he learned book binding in school and began making leather journals to sell. He used the earnings from selling journals to build a new workshop. He was able to move from an 8x8 space in his brother's house to a nice big, sturdy, 16x24 building on his own land! Because of his passion for building his community, he began to teach others his skill. He now has up to 25 men working with him in the workshop. When we asked Benson his favorite thing, he thought for a moment and replied, "the faithfulness of God."
