I *love* introducing new organizations!! It is so much fun sharing the heart behind the organizations that make the products we sell!! Our most recent partnership is with an organization called HandUp Global. They work in Haiti (which we LOVE too!) and they provide leadership and discipleship for young men transitioning out of orphanages. Isn't that the best?! I love it for many reasons but I will share only two of them with you today.
1-Most of the organizations we work with disciple
It’s been a busy year! I’m sure you can relate…busy with family and kids, busy with school or work, busy with after school activities, busy with life…busy can crush us if we aren’t careful! It can take our focus off what’s important to us in life.
Well, we are refocusing! We have taken some time out to step back and remind ourselves what is important and why it is important. What do we want to spend our time doing and then do it. And now we are back. We have a renewed sense of energy,
A week ago, my family evacuated for Hurricane Matthew. Ridden with anxiety, we boarded up our windows, secured the planters and lawn furniture and prayed over our home, barn, chickens and property. Then we loaded up our dogs and children and drove 4 hours inland to “safety”. As we drove, we talked and prayed for everyone else affected by Hurricane Matthew. The storm had just torn through Haiti, was currently in Cuba and was bearing down on the Bahamas. We were praying for all those in its
We are so grateful to have our lovely friend, Stef Layton, guest blog for us today! We welcome you to take a few moments to enjoy these words from her!
I love to pray for my friends. I always want to lift them up, but often when I snag a few quiet moments I have a hard time remembering who to pray for and what to pray exactly. In those moments my prayers feel forced and become a hard labor to articulate my heart's desire for the special people in my life. Time slips by as I become a
As promised, we are priviledged to have guest blogger, Laura Kelley from Pitter Patter Art with us today! Special thanks, Laura for sharing with us!
I've got a new favorite jam in Flo Rida's My House song. Suggestion: Don't watch the video with your 4-year-old peering over your shoulder. It's not the most appropriate of content..his house consists of things like liquor and scantily clad ladies dancing on tables and body shots :) When it comes on the radio though I turn it all the way
We are absolutely thrilled to introduce to you a dear soul we absolutely adore. Laura Kelley. Laura and her handsome hubs, Josh Kelley lead a tribe of 5 little ones. Laura loves Jesus, color, creativity, being a momma, foster mom and believes that quite possibly baked goods could change the world! She adores being an artist and considers it an honor to do what she loves…creating and sewing as much as she can. She teaches an [amazing] Bible journaling class anywhere and everywhere and
No, it wasn’t planned…
We didn’t set out to make a statement with the color scheme of our just announced new products. It just sort of…happened!
As they began to make their way onto our website, we realized that they pretty much all had something in common. Most every product we were adding this Spring has TURQUOISE in it! How fun!?!
Maybe it’s a subconscious thing? Maybe we are trying to get back to our roots. To simplify. After all, turquoise…it’s the color of 107 Market Street. It’s
God’s Word offers numerous references to gardens, healthy growth, weeds, fruit, harvest, etc. Plant a real garden with your children this spring as you teach them these valuable scripture verses.
While you are planting chat about Creation. God spoke life into being with His words. Planting a garden, waiting, weeding, tending, and enjoying the bounty take much time. God created something out of nothing quickly, and He created such varieties! Show your children how amazing God is with your
February has been awarded as “heart awareness month”. Commercials, doctors, nurses, radio ads and the like are all encouraging us to get our blood pressure checked and to know those important numbers. In my home, we are going to become heart aware of our family and friends too. Aware of their hearts for Christ. You see, my grandfather died an atheist. I was young and not a believer myself at the time. Years later when I did accept Christ my heart broke knowing my grandfather died not
Last weekend, Amy and I attended a retreat for adoptive and foster moms. It was an amazing experience! I can’t tell you what a joy it was to connect with other women who have similar passions in life and who share the same stories we share. We laughed together, cried together and were encouraged. These nuggets of truth I learned have been burned on my heart and I must share them with you! I hope that you will be encouraged also!
I am so encouraged to be reminded of Hebrews 12:2 – that
