Are you a shopper, looking to purchase unique, handmade items, while having a charitable impact on the world?
Or are you part of an Organization with artisans in a developing country? You have great products, but need help to expand your reach and get them in front of potential buyers?
Or, could it be you are a Retailer, trying to set yourself apart from the crowd by offering distinctive, high-end wares, rich in back-story, and brimming with purpose? You’ve come to the right place.
“Where style meets need”, 107 Market Street exists to connect customers with vetted artisans, provide platforms for marketing original, high-end, hand-made items, and partner with organizations training artists and workers with marketable skills, providing you with style while helping them meet their needs.
Around the world, our collaboration with artisans has taken us from workshops to homes in small villages, observing the work first hand, curating each piece in our collection to bring you the very best in high fashion.
Every sale strengthens the local economy through sustainable business practices and impacts developing countries by creating income streams for the poverty stricken overseas.
We’re Amy and Sarah, the 107 Market Street team, and we are devoted to promoting economic improvement globally, and offering you original products you’re going to love!
"My husband and I adopted internationally from Ghana in 2009. Through that process, I became familiar with third-world poverty and the devastation it has on children and families. I got involved in organizations that equip women with skills to earn a substantial wage to support their families. These organizations are doing great work, but there’s a missing piece; the ability to market and sell the goods is needed in order to create sustainable profits. I was ready to take the substantial time I've spent in business development over the years and put it behind the concept."
A word from Sarah:
"I love how the pieces and passions of our lives come together and help form our future and fulfill our destiny. When my husband and I decided to foster children in the state system, I became more and more aware of the importance of economic stability in families. I've been involved for more than a decade in promotions, sales, and marketing - taking products into the marketplace. As an increasing desire to serve others with these skills began to take root, I felt compelled to see how my life experience could be useful in connecting local and regional artisans with selling platforms and interested retailers. Improving the economic climate for families improves the economic climate for everyone."
When our paths crossed, we knew it was time to combine our efforts to make a difference.
Directly inspired by Psalm 107 - “Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story” (NIV translation). The 107 Market Street product line tells the stories of our artisans. It is a story of hope - a story of redemption, and the story of people coming together from the ends of the earth. Together, we can impact the world!
